Joseph DAVIS

Joseph DAVIS, son of Isaac and Cass Davis was killed the 16th of April by a tree falling on him. Joe would have been 27 the 19th of August but God, having prepared a better home for him called to him to come and join his angel sister who departed this life not quite a year ago. Joe was kind hearted and was ever ready to do what he was told and always seemed happy. It was sad to think he had to go, but he has crossed the dark river of death and landed safe in the arms of Jesus on that bright celestrial shore. His remains were taken to Zackmire Cemetery and laid to rest by Undertakers Lowe & Fine. He leaves a father and mother, 3 brothers, four sisters and host of friends to mourn his loss. he will not only be missed by the family but by the whole community. It seems hard to say that Joe has gone. We tender the bereaved family our heartfelt sympathy mingled with the profoundest regret in this sad event.
